I’m a theatre and radio director, humanitarian activist and writer living and working in New York City, the Pacific Northwest and other locales farther flung. Current projects include creating a radio documentary on the international sex trafficking industry, producing The Millay Sisters (about the poet Edna St. Vincent Millay), building a site-specific tour of NYC’s Meatpacking District inspired by Shakespeare’s 12th Night, and forging an international theatre collaboration between students in the US and Middle East – principally Damascus, Amman and Tehran. http://www.cynthiacroot.com
